What do I need to play Murder Hunt?
Murder Hunt is a virtual murder mystery game so all that you need is a computer with an internet connection.
All of the information that you need to solve each case can be found in your detective file and on other sites on the web, it's just a case of looking in the right places.
How do I get the clues?
Visit the 'Play Now' page, register to play and you will recieve your unique user id and password by email.
What is the prize for solving the case?
The first entry picked out of the correct answers each month will win the contents of the prize fund which currently stand at £250.
How much does it cost to enter Murder Hunt?
£1.50 for one month. You can also subscribe for 6 months or a year and receive a discount.
What method of payment do you accept?
Our secure payment processing is handled by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account.
What happens if no one solves the case?
In this unlikely event the game will close and the solution will be revealed. The prize fund will roll over to the next month.
Do I need to visit any locations?
Not at all. All of your investigations can be carried out online from the comfort of your own home.
How many answers can I submit?
Only one submission is allowed per contestant so please take your time and make sure that you're certain about your answer.
The first submission made by a player will be counted, any further submissions will be rejected. This is to prevent people trying to randomly guess the answers.
When do the new cases begin?
The Murder Hunt cases are launched every two months at the begining of the monh. Check the play now page for exact dates.
