Solution
The Tragic Tale of the Murdered Model
THE EXPLANATION
Lucy Sadler had left College to pursue a career in modelling after being signed to modelling Agency 'Monsoon'.
In reality, Lucy knew the fake Agency was acting fraudulently and she was investigating them under cover along with a tutor at the College. In order to protect the operation, Lucy was providing the tutor updates through blogs randomly posted on the internet, at his instruction.
Their plan to bring the Agency to account was however discovered and as attempts to stop Lucy's investigations by threatenning her failed, in order ensure her silence she was murdered.
Look in the case file. There is a note made from cut out newspaper letters stating
'...YOU HAVE 5 DAYS LEFT'!!
Go to the police Station to see what personal items from the murdered model have been left there.
There is a mobile phone, however this does not work as there is no SIM card in the phone.
There are some keys, which may be clicked on to look at more closely.
There is also a handbag that contains a diary and a purse. An entry in the diary on the 27th December states 'Tina McCall, 18:00, Blogspot'. Go to 'http://tinamccall.blogspot.com/' to discover that the blog post has been deleted.
The purse contains a rail ticket. Go to the Station.
Enter the number on the ticket to talk to Station Master. He advises that Lucy was often seen with another girl going to the Station and from the Station. He also says she was crying.
Go to the College, this is locked over Christmas so you are taken straight to a lock.
The keys when looked at closely say '37' on them. To open the College, click 37 times on the lock and then click 'Turn'.
You enter a corridor in the College. Click on the lockers at the end of the corridor. This takes you to a close of up the lockers. One of them is locked and you need a code to open it. (Unless you were one of the early participants in the game, in which case you will have been able to click again on the locker and this would have taken you straight to the solution!! Apologies to all who had their game spoilt by this fault. We are impressed with the detection skills of our subscribers though as even our own team of expert investigators failed to spot this fundamental error!).
Back in the corridor, click on each of the doors. All are locked apart from one. This takes you into a very dark room. Find the light switch and click. This reveals an office with a laptop in the corner and photograph on the desk.
Click on the laptop and turn it on. Click on 'History'. A screen appears saying 'This Blog has been deleted'. Click on the next history item. This shows a scanned image of a note with cut out newspaper letters stating 'YOU HAVE 4 DAYS LEFT'!!
Go back to the office and click on the photograph. This takes you to a close up of a photo of a man. Next to the picture there is a SIM card, which when looked at closely reveals a code.
Return to the Police Station and enter the code into the mobile phone by clicking the keypad digits.
Click through to the messages inbox. There is a text message from 'Bob' stating 'Tanya Hobbs, Blogspot, 12:30'.
Go to 'http://tanyahobbs.blogspot.com/'.

There is a blog stating "I can't do this anymore! Look! I've got another one! Can we stop this nonsense now? Enough is enough." Just below is a scanned image of another note: 'YOU HAVE 3 DAYS LEFT'.
The blog then goes on to say "I'm coming to the meal tomorrow night - see you there."
Go to the restaurant. There is a notice stating that a camera was found on the night that Lucy attended the meal. Click on the name of the restaurant owner to speak to him. The restaurant owner confirms she was there, although he does not know who with. He shows you the camera that he found on one of the tables - it is a Canon EOS.
Return to the Restaurant website and click on the 'Menu' page. There is a 'Goggle' Advert for A J Sandhurst Electrics. Click the link and it takes you to a website that is under development. It sells camera leads amongst other things and has a stall at the market.
Go to the Market and click on the 'Traders' page. Click on 'A J Sandhurst Electrics' and the page asks you which item you would like to buy. Type 'canon ifc 400pcu', the lead needed to work the camera with the laptop. Enter the exact price from the 'A J Sandhurst Electrics' website in order to buy the lead. This is £11.47. You will then be shown an image of the lead you have bought. There is a code etched on it - 'EXZAROC'.
Return to the College office, click the laptop and then click 'Insert'. You will need to enter the code from the camera lead exactly in order to view the pictures on the camera. You are shown some pictures of the murdered model at the restaurant. On one of them, she is talking to someone who looks like the man on the photograph at the College. On another, there is a picture of another note: 'YOU HAVE 2 DAYS LEFT'.
There is also a name and a date written on the table cloth: 'Jane Boaden, 30th December". Go to 'http://janeboaden.blogspot.com/' to find the following blog: "You told me not to be scared and that nothing would happen, but I am being followed and they know my every move
so I'm quitting! You can find everything in the college locker.
The new code is 4255990.
I just don't want to be a part of this anymore, I'm too scared."
Return to the College and enter this code to open the locker.
There is a final note in the locker stating 'YOU HAVE 1 DAY LEFT'!!
There is also a picture of the Station Master and a letter stating that he was the mastermind behind the fake modelling Agency.
He was using the models to make money from their pictures without paying them the fee that was promised to them in their signed 'contracts'.
