The Curious Disappearance of Phillip Schofield
THE EXPLANATION
TV presenter Phillip Schofield visited Bloodborough on the 3rd of August in order to reopen the local fire station which had just undergone some improvements.Seeing it as an opportunity to earn some money by holding the star to ransom, one of Bloodborough's inhabitants kidnapped Schofield in his van as he left the guest house in which he was staying.
Video evidence collected by Bloodborough Amateur Film Society helped to convince the authorities that Schofield had been replaced on TV by a look alike whilst the real presenter was being held captive in Bloodborogh.
Examine the emails that Phillip Schofield sent in the on the ‘clues’ page.
One message addressed to lostproperty@murderhunt.co.uk did not deliver and was returned to him.
Send the email again and you will receive the following response.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm sorry but nothing has been handed in.
If you have lost an item in Bloodborough whilst crossing one of the four bridges in the town I suggest that you try clicking all four bridges in order from north to south four times.
Hopefully something will turn up.
Kind Regards
Bloodborough Lost Property
Click the 4 bridges on the map from north to south 4 times and you find Phillip Schofield’s note book.
In it he writes that the password for his brief case is his date of birth (D.O.B.), which Google will tell you is 01/04/1969.
Go to the Tower, which is near the bed and breakfast that Schofield stayed in. It was mentioned in one of his emails.
Zoom in, and located on the scaffolding you will find the brief case.
Look at the diary in which he says he is tense and look at the newspaper where he has circled an advert for a massage.
Go to the phone box and ring the number stated in the advert. You find the Bloodborough telephone code by looking at the bank website.
Madam Betsy answers and gives you the password to enter the massage parlour website., “jellyfish”.
Go to the massage parlour and enter the word "jellyfish".
After your relaxing massage experience Madam Betsy gives you Schofield’s fire station pass that he left there.
Go to the fire station and enter the code on the pass to enter the restricted area.
Dust for prints on the office by rubbing the pictures with your mouse.
Find the fingerprint and take note of the crime scene ID number.
Go to the police station and enter the crime scene ID along with the number next to the matching finger print.
You are given a picture of the van in which Schofield was abducted, although the first letter of the number plate is obscured.
Go to the insurance brokers and by trying each letter of the alphabet as the first character of the number plate you will find the make and model of the van. A Ford Escort diesel.
Take the genius quiz at the college. Google will help you find the answers so you don’t strictly have to be a genius.
You are given entry to the Genius Society, but they don’t tell you where they meet.
After discovering that they meet at the museum, enter your password and you are told about a cat that has been seen in the grave yard.
Click and hold the middle grave stone for 5 seconds and you find Fluffball the cat.
Around Fluffball's neck is a collar with a web address on it.
Enter the web address and you are taken to Hilda Rogers, the fortune teller's page.
Have your tarot cards read and you are told @therealschofe
This should make you think of twitter. So search on twitter and you will find @therealschofe
Schofield has tweeted that he is in a dark place.
He can't use the phone to make a call because the kidnappers will here him.
He says there is only one number stored in the phone. A landline with no code.
Go to the phone box and ring the number and you will get through a lady who whistles a tune to you. There is lots of noise in the background and it could possibly be a pub.
Go to the Leather Apron Inn and play the tune on the piano (it is the This Morning theme tune).
You see the cellar door and are told to go away.
Here is your hiding place… the Leather Apron cellar.
See also the link to the staff facebook pages.
On Vernon Harper's page he states that he has a white diesel van.
Here is the kidnapper… Vernon Harper.
Culprit: Vernon Harper
Where is Phillip Schofield: The Leather Apron Cellar
